El viernes pasado recibimos la grata visita de la autora Sonjia Scherling, quien compartió su proyecto y creación literaria en una jornada con Junior III y Junior IV sobre la importancia del cuidado del medio ambiente y los recursos naturales.
Fue una tarde increíble, en la que nuestros alumnos tuvieron la oportunidad de utilizar su segunda lengua en un contexto diferente, escuchando el relato del cuento “Paddle & Pounce go on an iceberg adventure” y conversando sobre el libro, su inspiración y sus experiencias relacionadas con este tema.
Agradecemos a @rhymed_tales por hacer de la tarde una experiencia tan enriquecedora y educativa para todos. Fue un honor contar con su presencia y ver cómo nuestros estudiantes se conectaron con el mensaje de cuidar nuestro planeta en el segundo idioma. ¡Estamos emocionados de seguir aprendiendo y compartiendo más sobre el medio ambiente con todos!
Last Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting author Sonjia Scherling, who spent the afternoon sharing her literary project and work with Junior III and Junior IV discussing the importance of environmental care and natural resources.
It was an incredible afternoon, during which our students had the opportunity to use their second language in a different context, listening to the story “Paddle & Pounce go on an iceberg adventure” and engaging in conversations about the book and their experiences with this topic.
We are grateful to @rhymed_tales for making the event such an enriching and educational experience for everyone. It was an honor to have her with us and see how our students connected with the message of caring for our planet. We are excited to continue learning and sharing more about the environment together!
